The Prince Albert Pub

About Us

Well, where to start?

The Prince Albert was run by the same family for around 30 years and was known to locals as the Pots and Pans due to the vast amount of brass hanging from the ceiling. Upstairs, above the pub, was also a well-known restaurant called the Victorian.

Shepherd Neame, Britain’s oldest brewery, refurbished the pub approximately 4 years ago and we think it's fair to say the pub had lost its way somewhat.

Just over a year ago the current Landlord Lee, acquired The Prince Albert and the old pub is back to life, with vibrant weekends and a friendly midweek atmosphere.
The Prince Albert is, a good old fashioned local pub and has become a corner stone for the local community, through their commitment to entertainment and its welcoming feel.

The main attraction at The Prince Albert is, without a doubt, the live music. We have Live Acts and Music downstairs in the bar every Friday night with varied events for your entertainment on Saturdays too.
Sundays are fun for your entertainment too.

We also have a fully air conditioned and newly refurbed Function room for hire.
